You continually put everyone else before yourself.
You’re always there for them.
You feel run over by the train of chaos that is your life.
You struggle with pain in your body and no matter what you do, or who you see, you can’t seem to figure it out.
You long for space in your day,
for some time to focus on yourself.
You take care of your kids, maybe a spouse, or parents, or grandparents,
maybe even all at the same time.
You’re looking to find yourself amidst the chaos.
You want to learn some ways to count yourself into the game.
You want to find some relief from the constant pain in your body.
You know there is more to life than just survival, but you can’t seem to figure it out.
The load is heavy and the road is long.
I see you.
I am you.
I am here to help you.
Hi! I’m Jenn, a wife, mom, caregiver, mobility coach, personal trainer, RMT and survival guide for those on a similar journey.
Through my own 22 year challenge with back pain, 15 years of experience helping others with pain and my journey as a mom and caregiver, I’ve learned a few things along the way.
And I really want to share them with you. To help ease your load and share your burdens.
This book was born out of many years of trial and error on my own journey with taking care of everyone and not myself.
Which lead to a burnout that I worked hard to recover from but can easily fall back into because I am still doing all the things that lead to the burnout in the first place.
I realized – as we all know – that unless I started taking care of myself, I would NEVER be able to care for everyone else the way I wanted to. If I didn’t Find Me, in the midst of it all, the current of the river of life might take me out completely.
Lessons from Jenn’s journey, a SHINE tracker, a Five to Thrive exercise, and a 5 part guide on how to figure out the pain in your body.
This book will help you see where you can Find Yourself in the midst of the crazy journey called your life.
This book is for you if:
You’re a mom or a caregiver, or a linchpin like me (caring for multiple generations at once)
You experience pain in your body and you’ve never been able to figure it out.
You’re looking for ways to balance life
You feel pulled in all directions and are looking for some new ways to manage and cope.
You’re looking for others like you out there because you know you can’t be the only one going through what you are
What others are saying about this book…
I have smiled, giggled, and teared up while reading the first two parts of Finding Me. I have also been inspired, challenged and experienced quite a few lightbulb moments and insight into specific “growth” areas in my life.
My personal favorite chapter was Motherhood, although how can I really pull one out above the others? Even as a caregiver, my role as mom to my adult children and grandma to my grandchildren is like a treasure chest and constant source of joy in my life. The images created by your descriptions touched the sweet spots in that chest and will be read over and over again.
I’m excited to see where “Finding Me” goes, in my own life and the lives of all other readers. I see it being a great little manual that I refer to and elaborate on and incorporate into my coping strategies as a caregiver. Very practical tools for the step of life I am on. Thank you Jenn!

“Finding Me in the midst of chaos was a very easy read, and I couldn’t put it down. It was relatable and I loved the way you summarized but also left some questions open to ponder myself.
The section about Motherhood really tugged at my heart and got me teary. You articulated so well the dichotomy of loving my children and motherhood but also being so maxed out at times and just wishing to be only me for a short break.
You summarized some of the hurdles mothers, women, caregivers face without minimizing them.
I can’t wait for more people to read Finding Me!”
